Sex, God,

& Money

This is an invitation to less shame and more pleasure in three essential, interwoven areas of your life.

June 4-August 18

Shed your conditioning, deepen your connection, expand your potential.

Join us in this 12-week, trauma informed journey through the sexual, spiritual, and financial dimensions of your life.

We will excavate the sources of our conditioning, creatively explore how these forces connect with one another, and choose the relationship we want with each of these dimensions moving forward in our lives.

PLUS: You’ll be able to share this journey with someone in your life at no additional cost. You can bring your partner along, split the cost of registration, or gift your extra seat to someone you love to grow with.

Let’s take a moment to get present.

Notice what sensations arise in your body when you think about sex.

Now, notice what sensations arise in your body when you think about God.

Finally, notice what sensations arise in your body when you think about money.

Whatever came up for you, especially in the overlapping spaces between these powerful forces in life, we encourage you to not judge it, just notice.

Now, imagine releasing any discomfort, shame, or confusion that may exist in your body around these topics, and stepping into a space of embodied and expanded pleasure, discernment, and choice.

Ready to wake up to a more empowered, pleasurable, connected life?

Who is this for?

  • Couples Looking to Grow Together

If you're in a relationship, "Sex, God, and Money" is for you if you want to:

Understand Each Other Better: Be supported in compassionate understanding of where you each are coming from and what you want when it comes to sex, spirituality, and finances.

Plan a Future Together: Get on the same page about your future, making sure both your dreams and practical plans align.

Support Each Other: Often, deep-seated trauma responses limit us personally and as a couple, mistakenly perceived as unchangeable personality traits. Our trauma-informed approach fosters mutual understanding and compassion, paving the path for growth, informed choices, and new patterns.

  • Individuals Focusing on Personal Growth

If you're on your own right now, this course will help you:

Set Your Own Standards: Figure out what you really believe and want when it comes to sex, spirituality, and money, outside of what society expects or what you were conditioned to believe.

Build Confidence: Release the patterns that keep you in cycles of disempowerment. Boost your self-knowledge and how you value yourself, laying the groundwork for healthier relationships in the future.

Prepare for Future Partnerships: Understand yourself better to know what you're looking for in a partner, calling in people who respect and enhance your growth.

  • Everyone Interested in Authentic Connections

Regardless of your relationship status, this course is designed to support you:

Question Norms: Take a close look at your beliefs around these three key forces in life, releasing conditioning and choosing your authentic path forward.

Access your wisdom We design our gatherings for the emergence of collective wisdom. You will gain insight not only from what you hear in our sessions, but also what you yourself will say. We look forward to hearing and honoring your wisdom.

Authentic Choice: Find out how embracing your true self can open up new paths to happiness and satisfaction in all areas of your life.

OUR APPROACH

to the heavy, delicate, and interconnected

nature of sexuality, spirituality, and finance

We, Ganga Devi Braun and Seth Kaufmann have been in deep training for many years in all three of these dimensions (and tracking the threads of connection between them). Here’s an overview of both our approach and our qualifications for guiding this journey:

S E X

  • We both believe that pleasure is a fundamental right for all humans, and that sex is a powerful way to experience the depths of pleasure and connection that we are capable of. Unfortunately, we live in a world that has conditioned us to have a very distorted relationship with sex. We are committed to changing that culture.

  • Seth holds a Master of Science in Physiology, is a Certified Sexologist, and is trained in the Shangpa Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Tantra. These different threads of his training weave together to provide scientifically sound guidance that is also able to integrate the mystical and spiritually transformative potential in sexual practice.

  • We always take a fundamentally trauma-informed approach, and include as a bonus in this course our guidebook The Trauma-Informed Lover which has both theoretical and practical guidance to understanding and working with trauma responses in sexual encounters, whether they are your own or your partners’.

G O D

  • Ganga brings a rich heritage from being raised in an Interfaith Ashram, with extensive education in various religious and wisdom traditions, having studied Religious Anthropology with a focus on Tibetan culture, language, and philosophy in college. Seth was raised in a more conventional mainstream Jewish household, with a drive within him to find depths that weren’t immediately available to him, leading him to study meditation, yoga, kabbalah, and more.

  • We come from these very different backgrounds, but have the same foundational approach: we believe that the sacred is in everything and is fundamentally a force of love. In the course we’ll share more about our panentheistic worldview, but we will always encourage you to develop your own ideas about God, the Sacred, whatever you call that universal force.

  • We are both very concerned with the issue of abuse within spiritual communities, and this concern led us to seek out the highest quality education for spiritual maturity and spiritual guidance. This led us to OneSpirit Interspiritual Seminary, which we were both ordained through in 2020 after two years of deep study. This seminary equipped us to engage with diverse spiritual beliefs and traumas. We will always meet you where you are and help you deepen in the ways that feel right for you.

M O N E Y

  • Our marriage has been a transformative journey of unlearning financial patterns inherited from our families and from our culture at large. This hasn’t been easy. It’s one of the hardest things to discuss and align on in any marriage. This has driven us to find approaches that would work not just for us, but for our clients as well.

  • In this process, we have both become certified Trauma of Money practitioners, a process which has helped us to provide a deeply grounded trauma-informed approach to supporting our clients in their journey to an empowered and liberated relationship with money. We are excited to share this with you in this course.

  • Whether you come from a background of deep poverty, extreme wealth, or anywhere in between, a trauma-informed approach will help you release shame, patterns of self-sabotage, and beliefs that keep you from having the relationship with money that you desire.

THE ARC OF THE JOURNEY

  • Phase 1: Excavating

With an approach rooted in inner-child healing and nervous system regulation, we’ll excavate how these dimensions of our lives were shaped and see more clearly the coping mechanisms we turn to.

    • Orientation

    • Excavating Money

    • Excavating God

    • Excavating Sex

  • Phase 2: Connecting

We'll explore the ways these forces are connected both institutionally and within your own life’s narratives, giving rise to unique personal insights that wouldn't be possible if we looked at these areas in isolation.

    • Connecting God + Sex

    • Connecting Money + God

    • Connecting Sex + Money

    • Integration Intermission

  • Phase 3: Choosing

We’ll focus on nervous system expansion & listening deeply to our bodies to make empowered choices about how we want to relate to each dimension - and then take steps to make those choices our reality.

    • Choosing: God

    • Choosing: Sex

    • Choosing: Money

    • Closing

The structure is simple.

  • Weekly Focus: Each week has a clear theme (see above).

  • Study + Inquiry Materials: Released every Friday, these materials shed light on the internal, interpersonal, and institutional dimensions of the focus of the week.

  • Sunday Calls: Join us for a 90-minute session at 11 AM Eastern. The first hour is guided inquiry, learning, and nervous system work. The last half-hour is circle-style dialogue for collective wisdom. Camera optional, with recordings available immediately afterward.

  • Community Connection: Chat spaces available for participants looking to connect and integrate.
