Become Your Own Sexual Healer

More sensation. More pleasure.
More connection to your body.

Through education, somatic practice, and guided inquiry, you'll learn to deepen your relationship with sensation, understand your arousal, expand your capacity for pleasure, and work with sexual energy as a source of connection and creation.

the EDGE is a six-phase embodied exploration of sexuality, pleasure, healing, and creative energy.

Sexuality Is Something We Can Learn

Most of us learned about sexuality long before anyone taught us much about it.

We learned through our bodies and early experiences, through relationships and culture, through what was welcomed and what was discouraged, through what we saw, heard, imagined, discovered, and experienced for ourselves.

At the same time, many of us received remarkably little education about arousal, anatomy, pleasure, sensation, desire, or sexual energy. We may know how to have sex without knowing very much about how our own sexuality actually works.

Sexuality is shaped by physiology, experience, relationship, culture, conditioning, attention, safety, and the environments in which it unfolds.

As we learn to notice these influences and understand our own experience more clearly, our relationship with sexuality can continue developing.

Pleasure Can Become a Practice

Pleasure is something we can learn to notice, explore, and develop a relationship with.

In the EDGE, you begin by paying closer attention to sensation: what you feel, where you feel it, how it changes, and what happens when you bring curiosity and awareness to your experience.

Through practice, you begin experimenting with breath, movement, touch, and sound, discovering how different forms of attention can change what you feel and what becomes possible.

Pleasure becomes information. You learn to recognize your own patterns and preferences, follow what feels alive, and develop greater choice within your erotic life.

Sexuality Is Never Only Sexual

Your sexuality carries far more of you than you may consciously realize.

The body you bring into sex is the body you bring into the rest of your life. It carries your history, adaptations, expectations, protective patterns, desires, and ways of relating. The ways you brace or soften, reach or withdraw, express or contain, receive or resist, stay present or move away can become visible through sexuality with remarkable clarity.

This is part of what makes sexuality such a powerful place for transformation.

Within the EDGE, pleasure becomes more than something to pursue. It creates an embodied context for meeting patterns that may have been operating automatically for years and experimenting with different possibilities.

You can practice allowing more sensation before pulling away. Staying with yourself as intensity rises. Moving between activation and settling. Recognizing what you want. Feeling the difference between a boundary and a habitual protection. Receiving without immediately doing. Expressing yourself with greater freedom. Discovering where your body has learned to hold, protect, anticipate, or disconnect, and exploring what else becomes possible.

And the body learning these things is the same body moving through the rest of your life.

A different relationship with sensation can change how you experience pleasure. A different relationship with desire can affect how you make choices. Greater capacity to remain present can shape intimacy and communication. More freedom in your body can become more freedom in expression, relationship, creativity, and participation.

Sexuality becomes a place to practice living differently.

The Six Phases of the EDGE

01 ⟡ Feeling the Current

Begin sensing sexual energy as something you can actually feel, while developing greater awareness of sensation and your capacity to stay present within your body.

Each phase builds on the one before it, moving from sensation and embodiment into pleasure, healing, whole-body awareness, and creation.

02 ⟡ Coming Home to Your Body

Explore somatic healing, arousal, and anatomy while learning practices that support safety, responsiveness, and a deeper understanding of your own erotic physiology.

03 ⟡ Pleasure as Practice

Learn to create the conditions that help your body receive more pleasure, then develop a repeatable Orgasmic Awareness Practice for expanding sensation, pleasure, and erotic range.

04 ⟡ Energy in Motion

Explore whole-body responsiveness, circulation, subtle awareness, and erotic mapping. Discover revision: using pleasure as a context for exploring new possibilities within patterns your body has learned.

05 ⟡ The Body as Healer & Beloved

Bring the previous phases together through a full Somatic Self-Pleasure Ceremony, integrating touch, pleasure, presence, healing, and devotion into a practice of deeper intimacy with yourself.

06 ⟡ Devotional Creation

Turn erotic energy toward what you are creating. Explore somatic visioning and the relationship between pleasure, desire, devotion, vision, and grounded action. Then learn how to bring what you've practiced into connection with another person.

the EDGE Is Explicit

Sexuality is explored here as an embodied experience, which means we work directly with sexual anatomy, arousal, pleasure, touch, and self-pleasure.

the EDGE includes detailed education about Yoni (vulva, vagina, and internal anatomy) and Lingam (penis) anatomy, guided self-touch and self-pleasure practices, anatomical illustrations, and instructional demonstrations created to help you understand and explore your own body.

Some material is sexually explicit. You will encounter direct discussion and visual education related to genitals, arousal, orgasm, self-touch, self-pleasure, and sexual energy.

Everything is invitational. You choose which practices you engage with and how you engage with them.

EDUCATE → EMBODY → EMPOWER

Learning is meant to be felt and understood.

Every phase of the EDGE moves through the same learning rhythm, bringing education into direct experience and then into your own life.

EDUCATE

Frameworks and education give you language for what you’re experiencing and help you understand the physiology, patterns, and possibilities you’re exploring within your sexuality.

EMBODY

Guided practices and meditations bring the learning into your body through direct experience using sensation, breath, movement, touch, sound, arousal, pleasure, and sexual energy.

EMPOWER

Good Questions and guidance help you make sense of what you discover, apply it within your own life, and develop practices that become increasingly your own through continued exploration.

YOUR PACE IS PART OF THE PRACTICE

The six phases of the EDGE follow an intentional sequence, while your experience of them can unfold in its own rhythm.

You may move through one phase quickly and spend weeks with another. You may repeat a practice, return to something you explored months ago, or discover that familiar material meets you differently as your body, relationships, and life continue to change.

Progress here is measured through integration.

The practices within the EDGE are designed to be returned to. Some may become part of your life for a season. Others may become practices you carry for a lifetime. What you discover in one phase may deepen through another and bring you back to something you encountered earlier with new awareness.

Your experience may include pleasure and possibility, as well as uncertainty, emotion, resistance, protective patterns, unfamiliar sensations, or moments when your body responds differently than you expected. You can pause, repeat, adjust, spend more time somewhere, and choose the practices that support what you are ready to explore.

The phases give you a place to begin. The practices deepen, repeat, and evolve with you.

Creation + Connection

Somatic visioning, Devotional Creation, and Partnered Presence practices for bringing what you’ve developed through individual practice into creativity, grounded action, and connection with another person.

Who the EDGE Is For

You may want to feel more connected to your body, deepen your capacity for pleasure, understand your sexuality more fully, or develop a sexual life that feels more alive and responsive.

You may be exploring low desire, numbness, disconnection, difficulty becoming or staying aroused, erectile difficulties, premature ejaculation, difficulty reaching orgasm, shame, confusion, or a relationship with sex or pornography that feels compulsive or difficult to regulate.

For some people, sexual history includes experiences of harm, coercion, abuse, or boundary violations. Others may be trying to understand experiences in which they caused sexual harm themselves. These experiences can continue to shape your relationships with your body, sexuality, pleasure, intimacy, and other people.

the EDGE can be practiced alongside therapy and other forms of professional support when sexual trauma or harm is part of what you are carrying.

A satisfying sexual life can also be a starting point. There may be more you want to experience: whole-body and multiple orgasms, non-ejaculatory orgasm, orgasmic potential, sexual energy, or greater ranges of sensation, pleasure, arousal, and erotic awareness.

Sexuality can become a place for both healing and expansion.

Your curiosity might extend to how your history, adaptations, protective responses, and nervous system participate in your sexuality, or to developing a stronger relationship with desire, receiving, boundaries, intimacy, expression, creativity, and connection.

People come to this exploration with many different levels of sexual experience and many different relationship structures: single, partnered, dating, married, monogamous, non-monogamous, and everything those categories leave out. The relationship with your sexuality begins with you.

Curiosity is reason enough to begin.

Meet Your Educators

the EDGE was created by Seth Kaufmann and Ganga Devi Braun, drawing from years of studying, practicing, teaching, and exploring sexuality as part of the whole human experience.

Seth’s approach has developed across more than two decades of studying the body through exercise physiology, somatics, sexology, sexual education, tantra, meditation, contemplative practice, and embodied learning. the EDGE brings these disciplines into conversation through a single curriculum for understanding and exploring sexuality through the body.

Ganga’s approach draws from religious anthropology, philosophy, interspiritual ministry, living systems theory, regenerative practice, and years of exploring sexuality, spirituality, relationship, and human development. Within the EDGE, she brings particular attention to the larger relational, cultural, spiritual, and ecological contexts in which sexuality takes shape.

Together, they approach sexuality as a multidimensional part of being human: physiological, embodied, relational, cultural, creative, and sacred.

What People Have Experienced

People come to the EDGE with different histories, desires, questions, and possibilities. These are some of the ways the practices have taken shape in their lives.

From Constriction to Spaciousness

“the EDGE is 100% magic. It helped me move from feeling constricted and contracted to feeling spacious and free. It softens your hard life.

I didn’t realize how starved the self was for love and attention. This practice gives me a way to reconnect with myself, without needing anything from anyone else. It’s been deeply nourishing, and it’s accelerated my spiritual practice in ways I never expected.”

- an EDGE participant

Pleasure Beyond Sex

“I really love the question, ‘Is there any way I can make this more pleasurable for myself?’ I’ve been asking myself that question beyond sex, especially in terms of the sensations in my body.

I’ve been working with, ‘Can I just relax into this without trying to control it, move it, or change it?’ That’s been helpful. I’ve actually gotten to places of deep compassion.”

- an EDGE participant

Discovering What the Body Can Feel

One participant described discovering an entirely new relationship with sensation through the EDGE. As he developed greater awareness of both his physical body and what he experiences as his energy body, he began noticing flutters, shivers, tingling, and waves of sensation moving through his legs, arms, and spine. He also began experiencing non-ejaculatory orgasms.

What surprised him was the sense that many of these sensations had been available all along. Education and embodied practice had helped him learn how to notice and experience them.

Pleasure Beyond Performance

Another participant came to the EDGE while experiencing difficulties with erections. Through the course, he began exploring how much pressure and mental focus he had placed on becoming fully erect and having intercourse.

As he practiced bringing more attention to sensation, pleasure, presence, and connection with his partner, erection became less of a goal. He discovered that considerable pleasure was still available to him, while also finding new ways to participate in and expand his partner’s pleasure. On one occasion, after becoming absorbed in the experience rather than monitoring his erection, he realized he had become fully erect.

A Perspective From Inside the Field

One participant, a therapist who has experienced sexual harm herself and now supports people who have experienced sexual abuse and other forms of sexual harm, described the EDGE as addressing territory she rarely sees spoken about directly.

From both her personal and professional experience, she was struck by the way the course creates space for people carrying experiences of sexual harm, as well as people trying to understand experiences in which they have caused sexual harm themselves. She reflected on how experiences held in shame and silence can remain unintegrated for years, shaping individual lives and relationships while rippling outward through families, communities, culture, and the larger systems we collectively create.

Her reflection was: “I am so grateful that the EDGE exists. I have never seen anything like this in all my years.”

For her, part of what felt so important was the possibility of giving people language, embodied practices, and a place to begin engaging with experiences that can otherwise remain hidden for years.
